About the event
Immerse yourself in a two-day experience of Tunisian dance, music, and culture designed to take you from foundational movement to dancing with live music.
Throughout the weekend, dancers will explore the relationship between rhythm, movement, vocals, and cultural context through live percussion and music led by Najib Bahri and instruction by Shani.
Using the iconic Tunisian song Sidi Mansour as a central thread throughout the weekend, participants will learn the music, understand its structure and rhythm, and ultimately dance to it live during the final workshop experience.
Open to dancers interested in North African folkloric dance, live music connection, and deeper cultural immersion.
